Montjuic is a hill overlooking Barcelona and the site of the 1992 Olympics, as well as being home to art galleries, parks, and many leisure attractions. Also situated here is Placa de Braus Les Arenes which once was a bullring, but where in 1966 the Beatles put on one of their performances. The “Spanish Village” Poble Espanyol, can be found on the northwest side of Monjuic, and is a showcase of typical Spanish archictecture from the different regions of Spain.
