The Norlandia Karl Johan Hotel is a five-story hotel set in an historical late 18th Century building that enjoys a place on Oslo's main parade street, Karl Johan, its central location providing easy access to the city's restaurants, theaters, museums and boutiques. All 111 guestrooms have neutral décor with modern furnishings and wooden furniture. In addition rooms have private bathrooms and are equipped with minibars, televisions and wireless Internet access. Room views are either of the garden at the rear of the hotel or of the lively Karl Johan street.
Guests start the day with a complimentary breakfast and nearby valet parking is available. The hotel has a modern meeting room with a business lounge with a total capacity of 56 persons in one room and there is parking nearby. There are a host of attractions in the surrounding area, including many museums: within three kilometers guests can discover the life and work of playwright Henrik Ibsen, the art of Munch and learn about Viking vessels and Norwegian folklore. The hotel is approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles), or a forty-minute drive from the Oslo Airport. Express trains and buses connect the airport with the city center. From the city center a tram ride or short walk will complete the journey to the hotel.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Oslo Airport follow signs for Oslo taking the E6 followed by the E18. At Oslo exit towards 'Sentrum' turning right onto Rosenkrantz' gate after about one kilometer, and then left into Karl Johans gate.
